Teaching Philosophy: Having taught different branches of geology (physical, historical, environmental and hydrogeology) at the university level in the last 10 years has proved as enriching for myself as it’s been for my students. In a time when the stresses of teaching threaten to overwhelm – whether from challenging students, curricular mandates or the pressure for higher test scores – I have tried my best to grasp on a rich and diverse academic experience with a clear philosophy in order to provide an up-to-date education which is highly informative yet enriched with work and life ethics that is vital for this stage our nation-building. Therefore, my philosophy is still shaped to be more about common good and fairness. That’s why I strongly believe that through opening and exposing myself to new concepts in life, I would be able to equip myself with the required skills and knowledge badly needed in the academic arena. With this in mind, I aim to enable the students to realize their potential and encourage them to work to their utmost ability.
